About Shaylor Group

Shaylor Group is a second generation, family owned principal contractor with 40 years’ experience delivering construction, refurbishment, fit out and planned maintenance projects across a broad range of sectors, values and type.

Established in 1969, the company has grown significantly and now has three divisions within Shaylor Group, these being Build, Interiors and Repair and Maintain. To encompass these divisions the company has four offices based in the West Midlands, South West and South East.

We have built a substantial portfolio of work within the Public Sector. For local authorities, we have delivered new-build and refurbishment projects for schools, libraries, and community buildings, many of which have been challenging assignments. Within the Private Sector, we have completed projects for numerous blue chip clients delivering refurbishments, new builds and fit outs often in prominent locations.

Our success as a leading edge provider to the construction industry was recognised when we were named in the Sunday Times “Top 100 Companies to Work For”. In 2012 we achieved Investors in People Gold Status, where we were commended on our numerous strengths and good practices. We have also recently been awarded the Best Companies 2013 ‘One to Watch’ award.
