Yang Sing is a phonetic translation from Chinese of one of the names of the city of Guangzhou in Southern China – 'the City of Rams'. The Yang Sing was founded in November 1977 by the Yeung family. Tim Kwan Yeung was a renowned dim sum chef amongst the Chinese community in Manchester and beyond. Harry Yeung's acclaim has extended even further. 

Now into the third generation of the Yeung family, the legend goes from strength to strength offering cordial old-school service, some modern takes on traditional Cantonese cooking of the very highest quality, and an enviable reputation as one of the finest food institutions of Manchester.

Housed in a beautiful grade II listed building set over many floors, with extensive private dining and events facilities; and located in the heart of Manchester's Chinatown, serving exquisite Cantonese cuisine, the Yang Sing is there for your every occasion.

Open 364 days a year (only closing on Christmas Day to recover from the hectic Christmas season!) from 12 noon straight through
