About Beverley Tickton Grange Hotel

In 1979 we came across a forgotten piece of East Yorkshire’s past. Dilapidated and quietly collapsing, we decided to make Tickton Grange our home, our dream to create a very special hotel.

We are the Whymant Family and for over 30 years we’ve been proud to welcome guests to what is today one of Yorkshire’s favourite country house hotels.

Our Rooms

Should our tranquil lawns and gorgeous countryside fail to temp you out, why not decide to snuggle down for the day, or lazy evening in? All our rooms offer sumptuous comfort, flat screen televisions with Sky Sports at a touch of the remote, together with spacious en suites, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones, room and concierge service.

Enjoy a good night’s sleep and a great good morning by joining us for breakfast or indulge yourself by having breakfast served in your room.

Choose from our luxurious bridal suite, to more flexible options for families and friends wishing to be together. These include double/twin, single and family rooms, plus, the Granary, our beautifully refurbished contemporary accommodation. And for those keen to keep up the keep fit regime we also offer a small, well-equipped fitness room.

Let us spoil you with the best locally produced, seasonal fare available; freshly prepared daily by our hardworking team led by David Nowell in our award winning 2 AA Rosette Restaurant.

We combine a wealth of regional and international flavours, sourcing much of our produce from local suppliers. Using high quality local produce has always been important to us and building up those key supplier relationships over many years.

Romantic and elegant, Beverley Tickton Grange has had the pleasure of hosting many wonderful wedding breakfasts, receptions and ceremonies. With our experience, expertise and beautiful setting, rest assured you’re in safe hands.

From the moment you choose us as your wedding venue we’ll be there to assist, guide and support you every step of the way. Answering your questions, helping you find suppliers, choose menus and evening entertainment.

With a dedicated member of staff with you throughout your time with us, we’ll do as much or as little as you need to ensure your special day goes without a hitch.
