About MRS Training & Rescue

Conveniently located near the A1 and M62 motorways, approximately 2 miles from Pontefract, with a large free carpark and hotel next door, our state of the art training facilities and lecture rooms are perfect for the delivery of a comprehensive range of health and safety related products, training and services to a wide range of industries.

Each training course is personally organised by our Office Managers working closely with you to ensure it exceeds your needs and expectations. We have developed our specialist skills, experience and knowledge gained from working in difficult and potentially high risk environments, and our team of qualified trainers not only provide expert training, but can impart real life scenarios of situations they have faced, to bring the learning to life.

We have a choice of seven training rooms where we run a full range of Health and Safety training courses including First Aid, Safe Entry into Confined Spaces, Fire Fighting, IOSH and NEBOSH courses. Our training rooms can be adapted for tuition, seminars, and board meetings or break out rooms too, video conference facilities are available, and all rooms can be hired if required.

We are also able to offer first class practical training facilities which include a self-contained confined space training chamber, built into the fabric of the building with 70m of crawl space and internal cameras for recording all training, to prepare and train anyone who works in confined spaces. Here we can simulate how to prepare for entry, how to work in a safe manner while in a potential dangerous environment and then create emergency situations where candidates are taught to escape in a safe manner.

Compressed air charging facilities on site complement the specialist training delivered to breathing apparatus wearers and specialist rescue teams.

We also offer confined space equipment sales.

Offsite training

We also have a mobile training facility that allows us to deliver confined space training and competence assessment at your premises if preferred.
