About Birmingham City Council - Business Growth Programme

Offering grant funding of between £10k-£200k, the Business Growth Programme (BGP) is a package of support designed to strengthen supply chains, stimulate innovation and grow existing B2B Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) across the Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and The Marches Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) areas.

Part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Birmingham City Council, the £33m BGP comprises of 4 strands of business support, namely:

- The HS2 Supply Chain Programme (grants of £20k-£200k)                             

- The Green Bridge Supply Chain Programme (grants of £20k-£150k)

- The Business Innovation Programme (grants of £10k-£30k)

- The Business Development Programme (grants of £10k-£20k)
