About Streethay Wharf Ltd

Based on the detached section of the Coventry canal, Streethay Wharf offers a wide range of services including all types of steelwork, from minor repairs up to "stretching" a narrowboat, which is a speciality of theirs.  Paintwork, whole or part, such as a roof repaint is available in their covered dock, likewise blacking which is very popular.  They also carry out bespoke timber work including full cabin fit outs whether new or refurbished, through to luxury bathroom installations, with all plumbing and Gas Safe work carried out by their fully trained in house team.

Their experienced team of marine mechanics deal with all aspects of marine engineering from installing engines to servicing, and operate a 7 day break down call out.

They have a well stocked Chandlery open to the public which carries a good range of spare parts, and offers services to passing boats including diesel, gas, water and pump out facilities.  In the winter coal, logs and kindling are available to both passing boats and the general public.

There are 50 privately owned boats which moor alongside the working boatyard and Streethay offers day boat hire on Narrowboat Daysy, while groups can hire the community boat, Narrowboat Centenary, for a weekend or by the week.

Owner Nick Bellamy and his dedicated and loyal workforce at Streethay possess a wealth of knowledge gained over the years that they are committed to passing on to newcomers to the industry.
