About South Essex Fasteners Ltd

Since 1974, South Essex Fasteners Ltd have been supplying Essex and the surrounding area with all types of fixings and fasteners from our Southend-on-Sea office. As a well-established independent business our emphasis has always been on service to our customers, as well as having well experienced staff with a vast knowledge of the products we stock. It is also our policy to have good relations with our suppliers, so that we are able to offer quick, reliable deliveries on products that are not within our normal stock range.

1983 saw the opening of our Colchester office in order to improve our service in the North of Essex and also into Suffolk. During 1992 the two offices worked towards obtaining BS 5750 Quality Management System assessment and certification, which was achieved in October of that year. This system has been updated each year and we are currently certificated to BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008.

Whilst our original emphasis was on fixings and fasteners, our stock range has over the years expanded to include consumable products, hand tools, sealants, adhesives, abrasives, cleaning products and personal safety equipment. As well as all the standard bolts, nuts, etc. we stock a range of metric fine thread fasteners, both in high tensile and stainless steel.

Although we are based in Essex and offer a regular van delivery service within this area, we have customers in various parts of the British Isles and are currently exporting to the United States of America and the Far East.
